HISTORY OF THE SNOT SONG

In 1994, Classroom teacher Garth Fatnowna wrote the words and music of “The Snot Song” with help from his class. The BBC (Breath, Blow & Cough program) was being treated as part of the Curriculum focus at the time and the song was used as a lesson break.

In 2005, Sammi Fatnowna began using the song with her puppet “Pops Cocoa” in her role as an Itinerant Support Teacher for hearing visiting schools and preschools educating students about Ear Health. The Song and Puppet have become such a popular combination that the Fatnownas combined with the talents of Foxmor Media to product an animated verision that we hope you enjoy!
